Yes. ASPSO officially registered with the Ministry of Economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on January 20, 2018. Our registration number is 4357.
ASPS is a non-profit, non-political organization established in 2018. Our primary goal is to work alongside national and international partners to reduce poverty and empower women, focusing on alleviating the suffering of the most vulnerable groups in Afghanistan.

We have a proven track record of implementing projects with respected national and international partners. Our donors have included UNESCO, the Afghanistan Technical & Vocational Institute (ATVI) through a USAID-funded project, the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan (SCA), UN Women, TDH Germany, BRAC International, and the Afghanistan Solidarity Organization (ASO).
Our key strengths are our access to inaccessible and remote communities through our strong local networks, and our diverse, in-house pool of experts. This includes experienced humanitarian professionals, educationists, policy makers, and project implementation specialists.
Yes. Gender equality and providing humanitarian assistance to women and children are central to our organizational goals. We have strict measures in place for child safeguarding, gender-based violence, and child protection, and our mission emphasizes creating a self-sustaining Afghan society with a special focus on these groups.
